Wizz wizzard : vocals / management
Born in Belgium in 1963.
Wizz started with music at the age of 12 as a radio dj. He became one of Flanders best pirate dj’s in the beginning of the 80’s.
At the age of 22 Wizz decided to stop playing someone else’s music and start make some music of his own and that resulted in the band Sunrise (garage rock). Dammed it was bad….lol
There was lots of work to be done!!!
At the end of the 80’s Wizz was asked to be the singer of FINAL TOUCH a symphonic rock band.
They played some big gigs but the band splitted after 1 year.
At the end of the 90’s Wizz was the lead singer of a rock coverband Lipstick Traces for 4 years. They did 300 gigs all over Belgium and Holland.
At that time Wizz was also working as a sound engineer for great bands.
In 2001 Wizz played the bass in a Stevie Ray Vaughn tribute band, but he started in 2004 his own classic rock coverband SIXPACK. But with no work and little motivation the band split up.
After that Wizz started the band Wizzard.

Smb : lead guitar
Born in Belgium in 1967.
Started playing guitar at the age of 18. First influences were and still are new wave of british heavy metal. Played in a lot of bands as guitar or bass player. Is having a ball now with Wizzard playing lead guitar and writing songs.

Sluize : rhyhtm guitar
Born in Belgium in 1971.
Sluize started playing guitar , or better started terrorizing his surroundings, on a cheap Daytone guitar somewhere around 1986 trying to play like his heavy metal hero’s (James Hetfield, Adrian Smith, Fast Eddie Clarke, KK Downing, …).
In the beginning of the 90’s Sluize joined a band called Kama Sutra with some highschool friends and had some local success, playing clubs and a few supports in bigger venues like “De Vooruit” in Ghent. Kama Sutra played more rock orientated stuff and mainly own material with a few covers (Ramones, Neil Young and even a rock version of the Mamma’s and the pappa’s classic California Dreaming). After a few years the band splitted because of musical differences. Sluize and the bass player wanted to play more heavy stuff, so he quit the band and knew from than on that his heart was in metal and that this was the only thing he loved to play.
In the 90’s he attempted to start up a few hard rock / heavy metal bands, but none of them really succeeded until he went to an audition for a band that later was named Baremouth. Baremouth was and still is a classic hard rock cover band that had Mario (smb) on lead guitar in the early days. They cover songs from all the great hard rock bands of the 80’s (Iron Maiden, Twisted Sister, Saxon, Judas Priest, Ozzy, Black Sabbath, Metallica, …).
It was the same Mario (who by that time had left Baremouth and had joined Wizzard) that told him that Wizz would like to concentrate on his singing rather than to sing and play rhythm guitar at the same time. So Sluize came to audition in 2010 and got the job.

D-troy : bass guitar
Born in Belgium in 1985.
D-troy is the youngest wizzard and he plays the bass.
Wizzard is D-troy’s first band.
He started playing the bass in 2008 and became our Mr bassman.
Before D-troy was a roadie for several bands and always had the music virus in him.
He met Wizz in a local pub, the magic was there and he became a wizzard too.
